Mac Retro Matte Lipstick In Flat Out Fabulous

Flat Out Fabulous is described as a “bright plum matte.” It’s a cool-toned, fuchsia-plum with a flat, matte finish. 

Flat Out Fabulous is a gorgeous bright plum and is nothing like I own in my lipstick collection. I got it after my sister did and when i wanted it every mac counter i go to they say out of stock even online until i found it on Nordstrom & i went ahead and placed my order that week, 5 days later here it is.. 

Heres a swatch of it its so pretty..This lipstick Pigmentation is amazing. Now these retro lipsticks are best described as the most drying lipsticks so if u dont like matte lipsticks you wont like them unless you really exfoliate your lips and moisturize it really well before putting this shade on otherwise it will sink into the lines..When Mac describes this shade as “Bright Plum Matte” The shade looks more like a fuchsia tone to me. Durning the day this color looks more fuchsia and during the night it looks more purple..

This photo is taking durning the night as you can tell it looks more of a dark plum color where as the day light picture made the lipstick look like a bright fuchsia.. Forgot to mention the staying power of this lipstick is around 6-7 hours after that it leaves a dark stain which i like.. My favorite all time Mac lipsticks are the matte lippies and i hope they come out with the this whole collection again if i knew they where this amazing i would've tried my best to get every color they came out with cause i'm a sucker for mac lipsticks…
